Stalker 2 Confirmed for 2012:In Development

After so many speculations its finally true!GSC is currently working on the next Installment of the critically acclaimed Stalker Series which coincidentally is going to be another Trilogy. The truth is the previous Installments of Stalker left more questions Open than Answers(Regarding the fate & Death of certain Characters).
"After the official sales of the series exceeded 4 million copies worldwide, we had no doubts left to start creating a new big game in the S.T.A.L.K.E.R. universe. This will be the next chapter of the mega-popular game players expect from us" said Sergiy Grygorovych, CEO of GSC Game World.
Rumours galore that, the next stalker game will probably run on the Cryengine3,thats right the engine used by Crysis N its successor(UBISOFT) as they are planning to enter the console too.Probably for the First time, the Game will be released in Xbox version although they have attained the certification years ago.According to Sergiy Grygorovych,Stalker 2 is also going to be another Trilogy just like its predecessor.A lot of people have misunderstood Clear Sky & Call of Pripyat as Stalker 2 & 3.Although the Game is in works. No data is available reagarding the storyline or what is gonna unfold(Hoping to see strelok here again)The truth is Gsc itself has confirmed that Clear Sky & Call Of Pripyat are expansion packs, just like the Gta IV Trilogy( of Niko Bellic,Luis Lopez & Jhonny Klebitz).I am certainly looking forward for this ultimate gaming masterpiece, which has completely taken over the gaming universe and possess a  serious threat to similar genre games like Fallout & Half life .The game is expected to hit the stores somewhere in Q3 2012.Its the long wait which can sometimes be detrimental to gamers. Also this time around we hope the developers will provide with a BUGFREE game, because with the exception of Call Of Pripyat, the other 2 stalker games were filled with Bugs and Bad scripts.
