Its fairly simple to Use the Samsung NPS(New Pc Studio) to use your mobile as a modem and incase you haven't downloaded the New Pc Studio you can get it from here.The Steps maybe summarized as below:
Dialing number: *99***1#
A.P.N: TATA.DOCOMO.INTERNET (All in CAPS)
Username: Blank
Password: Blank
Incase you are unable to add APN then right click on My Computer>>Properties>>Device Manager>>Modems>>Select Your Phone Modem(Samsung in this case)>>Click on Properties>>And Click on the Advanced tabs and in the Extra Initialization Commands enter the following:
AT+CGDCONT=1,"IP","TATA.DOCOMO.INTERNET"
and then press Ok!Now it will work for you.
P.S: In your phone settings make sure you select the Pc Connection as "Samsung Kies" Otherwise the internet connection will not work.
- After installing your Pc Studio connect the Samsung mobile through the Usb cable.
- Once the connection has been established the Studio manager will open & then click on the widgets settings.
- Then CLick on add Internet Connector & click Ok.In the main menu the Internet Conenctor will be present. CLick it to open a new window.
- Now click on Connection settings and enter your country network provider A.P.N settings etc as instructed by your ISP provider.
- Now click Ok and close the connection settings menu and now to connect click on connect and press Yes. Now you are Online.
