Lot of people are having a tough time trying to find good Computer Peripheral shops in Velachery. It aint easy going to Ritchie street all the time and then coming back to find out that, the new hardware will not fit inside your Cpu and trust me you will get really pissed. But thankfully a few peripheral shops are present in center Velachery which offers pretty much the same discount and guarantees as offered by the commercial shops in Ritchie Street. If you include the Traveling expenses(carrying a new  pc via Auto all the way to Velachery) will be more than what you may required to spend if you can get it from your locality. Now lets take a look @ some of the best shops in Velachery

1)Aza Electronics: These guys are probably the ones who offer quality goods @ the lowest price when compared with others and also their service is pretty good.
Address: Velachery Bypass Road, Madipakkam Chennai, Tamil Nadu  Near NaaiHa & Prithvi Appartments near Velachery Bus stand.

Phone: 044-423341632)Challenge Computers:They are second best in this locality and have a bigger shop compared to Aza.They are also pretty economical like Aza.
Address:#1,Lakshmi Nagar,100 Feet Bypass Road(Next To Ratna Cafe)Velachery Chennai-600042.
Phone:044-45495096,45495097
Mobile:9940684762
Its better if you can avoid shops like Mency electronics in Velachery as they are not providing quality goods as per me and I had a tough time with them when I bought a 2GbRam from them. They are technically void in this field and can sometimes  be misleading. Also Stay away from Saai computers in Velachery they would charge you at exorbitant rates and probably even Brainwash you in buying outdated and useless products.
So there you have it.Its better to go for Aza or Challenger as they are much better than the other lot who are clearly interested in money more than customer satisfaction.
